Pupils must annotate a model, plan and then write a speech in which they defend a character from the play they believe deserves the sympathy of the audience. Can be used for a class debate or Spoken Language task, as well as a writing activity. ***Pupils should have read the entire play first *** Print the worksheet A3. Useful for KS3 or KS4.
